Lynn Gray
Lynn is a long distance runner of over 90 marathons, an age group winner in each age level for over 25 years, and an All American Masters Track and Field recipient. Lynn has been coaching men and women to establish aerobic fitness through walking and running for over 12 years with her “Walk to Run” © programs. Currently she is the founder and Vice President of “Take…The First Step Club” , a club which supports both walkers and runners of all ages in the Tampa Bay community. Lynn is an RRCA certified coach and has just recently published her first book: Fit and Faster – 100 workouts for the walkers and runners.

Christina Mitchelson
Christina has been running with Lynn and Take...The First Step for nearly nine years. During that time, she completed eleven marathons, but more importantly formed some of her most significant friendships and greatest memories. She plans to continue running and smiling as long as she has shoes to lace. She is the proud mother of Colin, who spent many Tuesday nights cheering for mom and her friends as they raced around the track. Her other passion is cheering for the Florida Gators.

June Leland
June began running in November 2001 at the age of 48 because it was too dark to rollerblade when the time changed to daylight savings time. She began running 5K's approximately 6 months later and over time progressed through races of longer distances, culminating in the Rocky Raccoon 100 Mile Endurance Race at age 55. She spends her work days caring for Veterans in their homes as the physician for the Home Based Primary Care Service. She's the proud parent of two very talented children.

Jennifer Schwartzberg
Jennifer joined Take...The First Step in September of 2008 after impetuously signing up for Disney's Princess Half Marathon. When she realized the commitment she had just made, she reached out to Lynn for help. Jennifer successfully successfully completed the half marathon in March 2009 and is now training for the Baltimore Marathon in October.
